Large-print Android calendar with lunar dates and step tracking
Shows oversized dates, lunar and solar days, and a built-in pedometer for daily tracking, presented in a clear, low-clutter view. Large Print Calendar from Connectopia co.ltd combines cultural calendar data and health cues in a lifestyle app for Android. The interface emphasizes large, high-contrast text and simplified event entry, aimed at seniors, children, and users who prefer an accessible, low-friction schedule companion.
Designed for readable daily planning
The calendar focuses on legibility, using extra-large fonts for dates and days of the week and a clean, high-contrast interface to reduce visual clutter. Event registration is simplified for common entries such as birthdays and anniversaries, and the app includes repeating lunar-date options for traditional observances. These choices target users who need immediate, glanceable information without navigating deep menu trees.
Combines cultural dates with basic health tracking
The app displays Solar and Lunar calendars side by side and lists the 24 Solar Terms and moon phases, so users can pick auspicious days or track traditional family events. It also puts a "Today's Steps" pedometer on the calendar view, so physical activity and scheduling appear on the same screen. That pairing suits people who follow cultural calendars and want a simple daily health cue.
Accessibility features and audio support for reduced vision
Accessibility shows in multiple elements: oversized typography, minimal interface elements, and an audio playback option for the daily horoscope. The audio feature applies specifically to horoscope updates, offering spoken content for users who prefer listening. The simplified layout avoids deep settings, which lowers onboarding friction for seniors and non-technical users.
Platform scope and practical limits
The app runs on Android devices and integrates calendar, lunar conversion, and step counting into one screen, which reduces the need to switch apps. It supports registering traditional events like ancestral rites with lunar repeats. The developer describes a user-centric focus, but the app does not advertise advanced scheduling tools or integrations with third-party calendar services in the feature list.
To sum up, useful for readers who need visible, culturally aware daily planning
Large Print Calendar is a useful option for weekend planners, busy parents, and seniors who want visible dates and simple event entry tied to cultural timings. Expect a compact, single-app flow that places steps and lunar dates in view; if you need full-featured syncing with external calendars, this app may not meet that need. Pro tip: enable the step display as your home view to combine activity and appointments at a glance.
